Senior Attention was founded in 2016 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission of serving memory-impaired seniors and their caregivers. The passion that co-founders Paul and Elaine Morgan have for this mission was developed while they served as family caregivers themselves for their late spouses, Jan and John, during their years-long journeys with Alzheimer’s Disease.

In addition to their work with the two programs described in this website, Paul and Elaine also host several support groups for caregivers of dementia patients.

The ministries of Senior Attention are funded by a combination of individual donations, an annual fundraiser and grants from foundations with whom Senior Attention shares mission-alignment. With no physical office or paid staff, Senior Attention devotes 98% of its annual revenue to mission programs.

Some patients will never experience some of the symptoms listed in each stage – or perhaps will experience them in a different sequence. Do not expect your family’s journey to follow this scale precisely.
