Serving memory-impaired seniors and their caregivers

Serving memory-impaired seniors and their caregivers

With one in nine Americans over age 65 suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease, there are few families whose lives have not been directly or indirectly impacted by its vicious attack on the human brain. And because the disease robs its victims of their ability to care for themselves, it is a disease that changes the lives of both its patients and the family members who care for them.

Senior Attention is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a focus on serving family caregivers who are caring for dementia patients in their homes.
This website is comprised of two sections, one for each of our two service programs:

  • Respite care scholarships… funding weekly half-day respite breaks for family caregivers who have financial need
  • Caregiver resource guide… a practical directory of valuable resources for North Texas family caregivers of dementia patients
